Oktober 2017-present:
Faculty member - senior lecturer, Department of Computer and Control Engineering,  Rzeszow University of Technology (RUT).

Teaching a number of computer engineering courses including: Databases, Software Engineering, Decision Support Systems and Data Mining. Consulting several companies on modern software processes and business intelligence applications for decision support. Doing research on machine learning and data science.

July 2013-September 2017:
Head of the ERP Systems and e-Services Group at the University Center for Information Technology at RUT,

Provided enterprise-level technologies that were core to central administrative business operations. Prepared and managed projects to design, implement and test advanced database systems and applications including progressive business intelligence functions.

Oktober 1987-June 2013:
Faculty member, Department of Computer and Control Engineering,  RUT.

Teaching and research assistant 1987-1993; Assistant professor 1993-2013.

Worked on numerous research projects, including: robot modeling and control, computer interpretation of visual data, machine learning and data modeling for databases and warehouses. Worked on and managed several database and BI development projects. Taught a number of computer science courses.

December 1996-November 1999:
Network and computer systems administrator at the Press Publishing Company "R-Press", Poland

Maintainined an organization’s work flow and kept its lines of communication open. Identified network issues and fixed them ensuring data storage networks work properly and employee workstations are connected to the central computer network. Set up and maintained an organization’s computer servers and trained new users on how to use relevant hardware and software.

October 1994-March 1995:
Faculty member,  University of Paderborn, Germany.

Taught and conducted research at School of Applied Sciences - Soest (presently South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences). Worked on computer interpretation of visual data with use of neural networks and studied mathematic methods and tools for electric engineering applications. Completed the syllabus, wrote the tutorial (225 pages), coordinated and taught the module Applied Mathematics.

June 1981-September 1987:
Technical staff member, Laboratory for Computing Devices at RUT.

Maintained computational facilities and consulted on IBM mainframe system. Researched and examined current systems and consulted users. Developed programs, scripts and operating manuals. Trained users, provided support and responded to feedback. Tested and modified systems to ensure that they operate reliably, founded and fixed fault. Worked on database systems implementation in the area of Physical Chemistry.
